I had been bleeding from the mouth for 12 hours following the dental implant surgery I had undergone five days earlier. I arrived at A & E at 10am Sunday. Fortunately i was next in line to see the triage nurse and because of the bleeding was given priority status. The wait to be seen by a doctor seemed long but when I was feeling too week to continue sitting on a chair in the waiting area I was fairly quickly found a bed to lie on in a cubicle. From then on I was able to let go of my feelings of panic at being out of control of my situation and give myself over to the care of the excellent medical staff. It was a great relief. So I would like to express my sincere thanks to the three people who attended to me with such unhurried care and kindness. In what must be a very pressured working environment you are to be highly commended for the way in which you made me feel I was the absolute focus of your attention. And the happy outcome is that the bleeding was finally stopped and I'm recovering well.
