"Third World"

About: Royal Free Hospital

This A&E department is third world. There is no hygiene at all and dried blood was left on the floor. I alerted someone who just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. Nobody washed their hands, or wore gloves, before or after examining patients or before or after removing lines. The place was in total chaos and there was no organisation of either patients or staff, at all. I think I would have been safer, if I had been seen in a hut in a remote village in the mdidle of Africa. I will be writing a formal complaint.

We are very sorry to read your comments as this is not the experience we want for our patients. We take all comments and complaints very seriously and will look into the points you raise when we receive your formal complaint. Your review will also be forwarded to our A&E team.
