About: Royal Sussex County Hospital

I have to say i am disgusted at the treatment of my daughter-in-law by the millennium wards floor 9. She waited four day in a lot of pain in her stomach, then they finally operated on sunday evening, they took out her appendix, operated on a hernia and took out some infected fatty tissue. This took two and a half hours, the next morning she was told she can go home, she said she was not filling well enough to go home and wanted to stay in for at least one more day. Later that day she was told that she had to go home because they needed the bed, this i know was a lie. How can you send a person home who in my eyes has had a major operation who can hardly stand let alone walk. know wonder this country's hospitals are being sued all the time. the NHS should try training it's staff to treat people instead of dummy's, they may understand then not all people are the same.
