"WGH staff"

My daughter went to WGH when her waters broke, on a Wednesday morning, They determined that she was 33 - 34 weeks, and that she should wait. Keeping her in, and “monitoring” her for 3 days, before sending her home. In spite of her requesting to be induced, or to have a Caesarian section, her pleas were ignored. After a scan on the Friday, they sent her home, she went into labour in the early hours of Saturday morning. Called for an ambulance, and by the time they got her back to WGH, no heartbeat could be detected. Baby was stillborn 6 hours later. How does this happen in the UK, in 2014? Why were her request for induction ignored? Could the scan on the Friday not pick up the umbilical cord around his neck, therefore necessitating a C section? Why was she sent home? Why was she not examined properly by the consultant? Why do we still have the same infant mortality rate as 20 years ago, yet Norway have managed to halve theirs? why is it, that WGH made mistakes, and we had to go to a burial, not a baptism?
