"Very noisy during the night!"

I had to go to hospital due to a gynaecological problem in February this year. Everything went very well. I am a nurse and was very impressed with the level of ward cleanliness. The worst bit (although I doubt anything can be done about it) was the noise level during the night. The staff were not noisy but admissions and the bed pan machines, lights were all disruptive to sleep. The worst part of my short stay wasn't the surgery; it was the migraine from two nights of very little sleep. The food was dire I'm afraid. It was tasteless! Thank goodness for the availability of sandwiches! There was also shortage of wheelchairs on the ward which restricted my movement.
