"The brilliant way Sure Start made me so welcome"

About: Cotgrave Children's Centre

(as a parent/guardian),

I was in the library with my Grandson when a member of the Sure Start team approached me to ask if I knew about Sure start which I didn't.

Wendy told me about rhyme rock and roll oin the library and young explorers at the school.

When we turned up we where made so welcome. The craft ideas that they had at young explores was very imaginative with their very friendly ways. My Grandson gained so much confidence by the praise from the leaders and encouraging him to mix with other children.

All this was encouraged by both leaders and I made friends with other parents. For the first time my Grandson asked every day was we going to the library or was it young explores day.

Thank you very much Cotgrave Sure Start Leaders

Dear Grandparent, thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is really good to hear that the staff made the sessions fun and sociable for you and your grandson. I hope it makes your trips to the library even more enjoyable in future - it's a great way to introduce children to books and reading. I will make sure the team are aware of your comments and we look forward to seeing you and your grandson at your local centre soon
