"Fantastic cardiology care at Hillingdon Hospital"

Fantastic ! My mother was admitted to cardiology for five days and her care was exemplary. The first morning she requested a move to Winchester Hospital (near home and a hospital she is very familiar with), was told that they would do their best to move her, but by the end of the day she had changed her mind and asked to stay. She said that felt much better cared for at Hillingdon.

A well run, well laid out, well resourced (to a layman) unit, the family were confident that she was in good hands from the time on the first evening when we had a chat with a doctor who explained the results of tests, which futher tests would be done and when, and the likely causes and results of the heart attack. At no time was there any sense that we were taking up her valuable time, and her communication with my mother was brilliant.

My mother said the the nurses too were extrememly caring. She even liked the food! Congratulations - and one in the eye for all those who seem to delight in running the NHS down.
