"Comments from service users"

These are the latest comments from our Service Users that have been fed back to us as part of the Patient Experience Questionnaires:

PEQ: very happy with it

PEQ: I started seeing Mark once a week for bereavement issues. This was enormously helpful and recently moved me on from where I'd been "stuck" for 2 years. But Mark also helped reveal some underlying worries and anxieties that had surfaced and in stepped the wonderful Sarah. The last 2 months in particular have seen me transformed from (at times) a nervous wreck, back to my old happy and confident self. Thank you so much Mark and Sarah xxx

PEQ: Lesley telephoned me on several occasions and was very supportive whilst I was suffering from anxiety, later my Mother died, Lesley was supportive and understanding in which was a difficult period for myself. Some of my problems have now resolved themselves and I am beginning to feel more positive and have returned to work. P. S. I have also been attending group sessions.

PEQ: Very good service. Highly recommended.

PEQ: Stephen understood me completely, he did his job perfectly. I can't thank him enough.

PEQ: The service has been extremely beneficial to both my personal and work life. Thank you.

PEQ: I have learnt to compose myself my feelings and emotions. I have learnt to control my behaviour and restrain my panic if I repeat a similar situation I now understand better.

CARD: I just wanted to say a very big thank you for all of your help and support over the last few months from Mandy.

CARD: Thank you for all your help and support. I really am grateful, feel emotional it’s our last session. I feel ready to do this on my own now and that is because of you helping me to get to where I am now. I feel “normal” well, happy. And I can now look forward to a better future with my family. Thank you for everything, it has been a pleasure working with you. All the best xx

PEQ: The service I found to be very efficient and I was kept informed at all times what would happen. Thanks to Steven who was very professional at all times. My life is so positive now.

PEQ: The lady really listened and understood, she's given me the determination and focus to get better. She helped me so much and she really made me feel proud as it is a big step. I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

PEQ: It made me more aware of my own difficulties and those of others. It was greatly beneficial and I’m glad I took part.

PEQ: Therapist excellent, really kind and caring and brilliant at her job. Would maybe have liked to try face to face CBT.

PEQ: Very good. The lady was clear and understanding and the information papers helped a lot. I feel a lot better now do not worry about silly things.

PEQ: The Therapist was very understanding and kind. The breathing exercises seem to be helping, so nice to know that there is help, for I realise there are people much worse than myself thank you all so much.

PEQ: The staff were very helpful I think that they have given me the right information so I will get the best treatment.

PEQ: I was impressed by the courtesy afforded to me by all the staff and the positive manner in which help and assistance was provided to me.

PEQ: I am really grateful in the help I received and very happy to be feeling 100 times better, thank you so much.

PEQ: My therapist was very supportive with understanding and guidance at all times. On the first appointment he quickly assessed how I was feeling and the type of person I was - this gave me so much confidence in the further appointments. I felt after each session it had been positive - even if I was feeling depressed at the time.

PEQ: At the start of my counselling I was a bit apprehensive by being seen by a male councillor due to my issues but I needn't have. I found my councillor Mark to be patient, caring, a very good listener with plenty of positive feedback, above all professional but human. My sessions have given me the strength to carry on and appreciate myself once again. Thank you. Thank God for such Services as Rightsteps are available when needed.

PEQ: The service is excellent - I attended workshops which were very useful and provided me with the tools to help myself and even though I was unsure they would work - they did! Unfortunately waiting time for 1-1 was FAR too long.

PEQ: I just want to thank Mark with helping me through such a difficult time. He listened to me and understood the conflict that I was going through. I had never been to counselling before and found it difficult at first but Mark put me at ease and brought out in me all the issues I was scared to talk about. Thank you Turning Point for all your help, you have been amazing............ Thank you!
