"I was on a ward for 12 days and ..."

About: Warrington Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was on a ward for 12 days and in all that time the staff bent over backwards to help and assist my needs, I honestly couldnt fault the staff in any way shape or form and I am very grateful for the treatment they provided in my time spent there.

What could be improved

This is not in any way a critism of any of the staff it is just a recognition of just how streatched the staff are, they never stop all the time they are one the ward, and they were short staffed, and at times were pushed to get the basic tasks completed. It really is an eye opener how much the staff have to do and are expected to do above and beyond their own job descriptions. They really are worth their own salt and this needs to be reflected in the reports and media articles about the nhs.

Anything else?

Thank you again for all your help and aslo thank you for involving my husband and allowing him to stay with me when I was admitted into hospital and also when I was transferred up to the ward, it really helped both myself him being there and he went home with a piece of mind as to what was going to happen to me. Thank you so much again.
