"Hysterectomy operation and care"

I was admitted on 1st September 2014 for a scheduled hysterectomy. My husband was allowed to stay all day in my room. The staff were polite, friendly and treated me as an individual person, not as a case or operation. I received excellent care over and above my medical needs when they discovered some of the troubles I was having with my family at the time. Although I was slow to recover from the anaesthetic, I left hospital 24 hours earlier than expected and I am sure it was die to the excellent care and the constant presence of my husband throughout the days I was in hospital. I cannot recommend the staff enough, they were all absolutely fantastic, from the consultant and anaesthetist to the nurses and health care assistants and even the cleaners and hospitality staff. If I ever need surgery again, I want it to be done at this hospital!
