"The staff just seem to carry you through it"

Had colonoscopy at Solihull hospital this morning as a result of the bowel screening programme. From the minute I registered I received reassuring attention from all the staff that were involved in my procedure. So much time was spent explaining details before and at the point of discharge. My dedicated nurse was warm and caring. I felt she really did care.

The bowel screening programme is so worthwhile. I would urge everyone no matter how anxious they feel to take advantage of it. The staff just seem to carry you through it.
