My mother recently had a laryngectomy and follow-up treatment left her in so much pain that she passed out.
I took her to my GP but my mother was too ill to get out of the car so a paramedic was called. The first paramedic, Ian, arrived very quickly and checked my mother’s condition while she was still in the car. Ian was then joined by Jen and John ‘3’ in an ambulance who took over my mother’s care.
I could not fault them in any way.
My mother was helped into the surgery where they were able to do more checks to ensure everything was OK. Jen and John ‘3’ then stayed with my mother and me until she was fit enough to go home, they even followed us home and helped me get my mother back into the house.
I believe personalities are so important, the paramedics all had lovely personalities.
"I could not fault them in any way"
