What could be improved
31st October. Outpatients at WGH was packed. patients had been ferried in from Barrow to a consultant who doesn't operate at WGH. They then had to taken back to Barrow. As there were so many of them and some had waited several hours, the driver suggested they take those, who were ready, home and woukld come back for the others later.
What a waste of moneyand tying up of ambulances.
Come on, surely you can use a little common sense.

As Mr Palfreman stated that he was a patient with our Trust, we were able to write to him with our details requesting that he contacts us so that we could discuss his comments and investigate further.
