"My Aneurysm "

About: Leigh Infirmary / General surgery

(as the patient),

I had my aneurysm removed repaired at Wigan. Under the care of Mr Mordsly. And my treatment was brilliant.

When first meeting Mr Mordsly my first thought was he was very abrupt but l thought if he worked as he spoke l would be OK. l had lived with the aneurysm for 10 years and he told me it would be ten years when he would see me again because it went on the growth off the aneurysm. He was on the button.

l went into Wigan for the opp which Mr Mordsly and his team performed and everything went brilliant. He rang my wife straight after the opp and l owe him my life. l can honestly say I cant thank him enough

Response from Leigh Infirmary

Thank you for your kind comments in respect of the doctor concerned, which I will ensure he is made aware of. The standard of care shown by him is exemplary and what we would expect. However individual praise is not always recognised or acknowledged and we would again thank you for letting us have your feedback.
