My therapist is Jo. When I first started here some 8 - 10 weeks ago I was really distant and traumatised by an incident I had kept to myself for over 50 years. I was raped as a child at four years old.
Jo has been a God send, she has helped me talk about my fears and feelings of guilt that had come to the surface when I was forced to retire from work through ill health.
As a man in my 60s I thought I would never tell anybody, that no one could help but Jo has worked miracles, she has made me realise that as I a child it was not my fault, I was not at blame for the injuries both physical and mental. I am now enjoying life to the full in a happy retirement, all in my view due to Jo.
