"Excellent attention"

About: St Mary's Hospital (Newport)

Our 9-year-old son fractured his arm (ulnar and radius) while we were on holiday in the Isle of Wight. He received excellent medical attention at the fracture clinic and at the Children's Ward. All the staff did all they could to help us. We are really thankful to all the staff for their kindness and helpfulness. It was awful to have an accident while we were away form home, in a foreign country, but the excellent attention received made our experience much better. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this valuable feedback, which has been shared with the Teams. I was pleased to read that you were provided with excellent care, having an accident away from home must be an awful experience and I am glad that the team helped to make it a better one for you and your son. I wish your son a speedy and full recovery and do hope that you holiday to our Island was not too spoiled.
