"Children's Ward"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

My 18 month old daughter had a one night stay on the children's ward recently. The staff on the ward along with those in children's A&E were all so caring and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We couldn't have asked for better care. This was consistent through doctors, nurses and cleaners, it made a terrible experience bearable. Thank you!

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are extremely grateful that you have taken the time to provide this feedback. We are proud of the care that staff provided to you and your daughter during what must have been a very upsetting experience for you. Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience whilst at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated. We have passed your kind sentiments to staff in our Children's Emergency Department. If we can be of further assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on freephone 0800 432 0251, email wih-tr.pals@nhs.net or in writing to PALS, Arrowe Park Hospital, Arrowe Park Road, Upton, Wirral, CH49 5PE. We hope that your daughter is now feeling better. Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
