"neurology dept needs help"

Initial Out Pt Appt 11/11/13. Bloods and Nerve conduction studies requested. Bloods done same day, then it became ridiculous. Copy of GP letter to me arrived 4/1/14 having been dictated on day of consultation but not typed until 20/12/13 and finally posted 2/1/14. To be followed up after these tests. A request to appt centre for the NCS test was in block capitals. I phoned Consultants Sec. 4/2/14 as no appt forthcoming, said it takes a long time and would chase. I rang Appts Centre 14/2/14 and this test had not been requested !! they put me through to Sec. who seemed flustered and said again it would be arranged. Finally had test 5/3/14 and then in April follow up appt arrived for 17/7/14. This was cancelled by phone a few days before. New f/u appt arrived for 24/7/14 (different Dr) this was cancelled few days before. Today 1/9/14 new f/u appt arrived for 15/12/14 - unbelievable. I am now going Private
