I came to visit this hospital a few weeks ago with my mother who can not walk. There was no room on the disability parking. We had to park on the staff car park then my step father had to walk to the hospital to get the wheelchair for my mother it was raining at this time which i thought was bad why couldnt we have just took my mother out of the car at the entrance then she wouldnt have got wet due to the rain. Eventually once we got there we were in the wrong building and should have been at the other building site. The consultant we saw was very rude very abrupt did not have any heart or compassion for my mother as she had deteriorated badly in such a short length of time. As for my mothers diagnosis we are still awaiting for one another long progress we are having to wait for. Absolute disrgace this hospital cut backs in the wrong places as far as im concerned. The consultant once asked why my mother didnt receive her follow up appointment was "I dont make the appointments thats the appointments department".
