"Same sex areas and pharmacy slowness"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

Not happy that my wife was treated badly by one nurse when she refused to be placed in an area filled with male patients in EAU. Also, when she was ready to go there was a 4 hour wait for the tablets to appear from the Pharmacy, despite constant questions from me as to when they would arrive, and pressure on staff to vacate beds for new patients, which couldn't be done until my wife got her medication.

Thank you for your comments regarding your wife's care in EAU. I am very sorry that her experience did not meet the standard you could expect. We would be very happy to investigate the issues you have raised and provide you with a response. If you would like us to do this, please do not hesitate to contact Sue McNiven, Complaints Co-ordinator, on 01865 221728 or at sue.mcniven@ouh.nhs.uk who will be happy to discuss the complaint process with you. Kind regards
