"radiology dept bexley wing"

About: St James's University Hospital

had to have a c scan with dye here on 1st july or aug 2014. I am disabled and mobility issues, this was picked up immediately by staff, while I waited I was given extra water and help with drinking, I was left beside receptionist in case of falls who checked in with me regularly despite being busy. The staff came and fetched me, asked me how best to get on slab for the xray thing and assisted me in with dignity, they did not talk down to me and explaine dprocedure without sounding patronising. For other ereasons I am terrified of going to hospital but if you go to this dept and are disabled you will be made to feel like a human being again- thank you to all staff I appreciate dit love jenni

Dear Disabled Female I was very pleased to read of the good care provided to you by staff in the Radiology Department. I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the staff concerned. Thank you once again for taking the time to write these positive comments. With kind regards Rosie Senior Nurse Patient Experience
