"spinal surgery and care at the LGI"

About: Leeds General Infirmary / Neurosurgery

(as the patient),

my surgery was carried out in August by a wonderful surgeon by the name Mr Simon Thomson, the anaesthetist was incredible in every way regarding his care for me, and knowledge of my particular requirements, I was completely confident in the way in which I was monitored whilst in theatre having had a recent shoulder joint replacement and the need to be very carefully handled and manoeuvred, the after-care I received on Ward L25 has been second to none, the nurses were exceptional, I must mention a staff nurse named Jazzy, and another wonderful nurse named Linda, but they were all absolute angels.

Dear Johnyb

Thank you for taking the time to compliment the staff who looked after you at the LGI. I was very pleased to read that you had received such good care and I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the staff concerned.

With kind regards

Scott
