"Dreadful"

Run by a private company this unit does not come anywhere near NHS standards. The doctor in charge was unwelcoming, refused to allow my wife to accompany me (she is a doctor fully qualified) I am a vulnerable patient and have never been refused my wife's attendance before. I refused Care uk treatment. When I chose to go to NHS department in Bournemouth I was given a ct scan and told I didn't even need a sigmoidoscopy. I was seen and treated by a consultant and my accompanying wife was not refused. It is surely time to rid the NHS of these companies profiteering from our hard earned taxes.
