"Staff going beyond what is expected"

My wife was recently a patient on the medical admissions ward at Lincoln County Hospital, My wife has a number of food allergies which means her diet especially in hospital can be difficult to manage. At breakfast the first morning I explained to the domestic assistant later found out his name was Daniel who went out of his way to check with the kitchen what food was available to my wife. He even gave me a copy of the patient food menu and highlighted the options available. Due to Daniel's extra care my wife was able to enjoy a healthy meal each day. If the hospital had a employer of the month Daniel would get my vote
