My mum who is 76 was admitted into the A&E Department in the early hours of Monday morning on 25/08/14. I would just like to say a very big thank you to the staff in the A&E Dept for saving my mum's life. She had stopped breathing and her heart had stopped, the staff in the A&E Dept were absolutely fantastic in how they treated my mum and myself and the rest of our family. They kept us up to date at every stage as to what was happening and involved us in the decision making as to what would happen if mums heart stopped again. It was a suprise to the whole family and I believe the doctors and nursing staff that mum pulled through that night, and I just wanted to say that this would not have happened if it had not been for the dedication and commitment of the staff in the A&E department. Although mum is still very ill, the treatment she received in the A&E department has at least given us a little more time with her. Many, many thanks
