"Good care for my colonoscopy at Castle Hill"

About: Castle Hill Hospital

(as the patient),

I recently went to have a colonoscopy (up the bottom). I wasn't worried. Everything went fine.

I was expecting a bit of discomfort, which is what I got, but this did not put me off. I had good nursing care throughout. I was talked through what was going on and I knew what was happening to me. I have no complaints with what I went through and the nurses were very good.

Dear Over157

Thank you for taking the time to post your opinion about your experiences at Castle Hill Hospital on this website. It is always pleasing to receive such positive feedback and this is really appreciated.

NHS Hull is the organisation responsible for deciding how money is spent on local health services (also known as commissioning), ensuring those services are of high quality and meet local needs.

We have forwarded your comments on to colleagues at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals Trust (which provides these services) and they will ensure that they are passed on to the staff concerned.

Thank you once again for your comments.
