"Excellent Care in A & E"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital

I sustained a head injury, having been hit on the head by a flying bottle by accident, which caused my head to bleed. I attended A & E at about 4 a.m. on 23rd August 2014 to have it checked, just in case. The staff were lovely, very kind and sympathetic. I was seen by a nurse and two doctors. They cleaned the wound and closed the gash with what I believe is called a butterfly stitch and gave helpful advice on post-discharge care. I was in and out within the hour - one of the quickest times I have ever spent at A & E. Five days later I am making a good recovery. Please thank the medical staff who looked after me, they are doing a great job! Many thanks, Sarah Egan
