My husband had Parkinsons and I cared for him at home. He had to go into Manchester Royal Infirmary in September 2013, and while he was there he had two falls. After one fall I saw his shoulder was bruised and the second time his forehead and knee were damaged and his front teeth were broken.
The hospital staff only gave him his medication once a day, instead of three times a day and they didn’t bathe him. Finally, I had to bathe him. The staff I met didn't all seem to be good.
He died in the hospital soon after the second fall and I think it led to his death. Now I’m on my own and I don’t want this to happen to any other patients.
