"Staff on Loxley ward have to be admired"

In January this year I was diagnosed with pneumonia and was admitted to the Jenner ward on admission to Nottingham City Hospital. The next day i was moved to another ward called Loxley ward. I felt the staff on Loxley ward have to be admired. This was a ward in the maternity unit because of a bed shortage they were coping with (in my four bedded bay) a lady with blood clots on her lungs and vertigo, me and a geriatric patient being re-hydrated who caused many problems because of her condition. The care extended to us all was exemplary at all times and the team work shown when a patient suffered a post-operation haemorrhage was outstanding. The food was good too!
