"Results of MRI on June 23rd, still awaiting call..."

I had the results of an MRI for my back problems on 23rd June, was promised a call back the following week and a referral to a neurologist... still waiting for both. Have left several messages with the consultant's secretary and several voicemail's as she only works Monday to Wednesday and also seems to be on annual leave a majority of the time. More than 2 months on I am still in limbo and none the wiser as to what treatment I am going to receive. I have made my concerns clear with both the secretary and the complaints department and still have received no contact back from either. Disgusting! I feel completely let down by the NHS as I have had these back problems for 13 years and it's taken long enough to get to this stage. I am fed up of just being pumped with pain killers, I want a solution not a prescription.
