With both my son (born Sept 2011) and my daughter (born Sept 2013) the care I received at the John Radcliffe Hospital was great across the board. I had hyperemisis with both pregnancies and the Gynaecology ward and maternity ward were fantastic in how they cared for me even though with my daughter there was a very long wait the 2nd time I was in (over 5 hours) to see a doctor. The delivery suite were fantastic with my sons birth although I was lucky it wasn't busy. The only negative was postnatal department, other than 1 midwife, were not very helpful, snapped at me when I asked a question and were rude, not great for a first time mother. The Spires unit for my daughters birth could not be faulted our midwife was great, very attentive and the unit was spotless we were able to leave by 9am too which was good so we get back to my son. Overall I felt very positive after both my births.
