"Unnecessary stress and worry"

My partner was in hospital for operation on his stomach. I was told that he was ready for me to collect him and take him home. the doctor had told him after operation that he can go home. Staff lied to me saying they didn't have enough staff to move him from theatre to Silverton ward I waited three hours to then be told that he couldn't be moved yet because he hadn't fully recovered. Why did they lie?? when they moved him from the stretcher to the bed they made him walk on his own with no support when he just had stitches he should never have been made to walk. the attitude and manner of the staff towards was totally uncaring when I was worried sick and everyone was saying different things. No information given unless I specifically asked. They said somebody was coming but they weren't sure who it was very disorganised. they never asked me the name of my other half but then they didn't know his name either.
