I was sent to Lancaster Royal Infirmary which i was apprehensive to go there from recent visits. At Lancaster coming from another hospital your left to wait in sever pain they don't even offer you a drink of water or even ask if your in pain. The pain after my operation is doubly the pain of child birth i am a mum of 3 so i know. Even the ambulance that brought me in said did i want some gas and air. After lying there in excruciating pain i decided to go home where i could at least get some pain relief instead of been offered paracetamol. I am now thinking of suing A+E because when i returned after going back to be treated i am told i will wait 2 hours before. Of course i am not going to wait another 2 hours i arrived at 12 pm they wanted me to wait again util 6 pm. Then i guess if your not from Lancaster your put to the back of the que which i was from 2 people i seen how many more were they getting treated before me. Hey after all i was from Kendal. I think the NHS would save lot's more money if they got rid of a few staff there was on average 3-4 people per patient so i ask myself why i waited for 4 plus hours. I left the hospital in disgust at the way i was treated i was in sever pain but at least when i returned home i had pain relief
