"Thank you, Mr Prasad"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / General surgery

(as the patient),

I have recently had some surgery at WWL, Mr Prasad was my consultant and I have to say that he was an absolute gentleman. He did not make me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed at any time.

At my clinic appointment he took the time to talk to me first, gave me some privacy to get undressed for my examination, and I could hear him washing his hands. Following my examination, he afforded me my privacy to get dressed before coming back to speak to me about my surgery.

He is a true gentleman and an asset to your team at WWL. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends should they have any problems following their breast screening. Thank you Mr Prasad for being so kind and caring.

Thank you for your kind comments in respect of Mr Prasad which I will ensure he is made aware of. The standard of care shown by Mr Prasad is, as always, exemplary and what we would expect. However individual praise is not always recognised or acknowledged and we would again thank you for letting us have your feedback.

Kind regards

Update posted by Wigan Resident (the patient)

Thank you for your response, I had to go back to see Mr Prasad two weeks after my surgery, as I had a problem with healing. The specialist breast care nurses were very helpful and organised an appointment for me. Mr Prasad was again very kind and caring and sorted my problem out.

I went for my follow up appointment recently, he was again a perfect gentleman, he had medical students with him, and introduced them all to me asking did I mind if they were present, again he did not make me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable and I had no problem with the students being present. Please extend my thanks to Mr Prasad.
