"Circle Bath review - Excellent consultant"

As an NHS patient dealing with fertility issues, I have been pushed from one doctor to another, none of whom seemed to know what to do, or who to refer me to. Finally, I had been sent for a laparoscopic operation and I chose Circle Bath as it had the shortest waiting time. For my pre-op consultation, I met the best consultant we have seen to date. Not only did he explain the procedure I had to undergo thoroughly, he also looked at my previous test results and my husbands results and offered us a joint appointment (as NHS patients) at the Bath Fertility Clinic the next week (at the time we had been waiting to be seen at Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine for 2 months). The consultant has been helpful, thorough and very knowledgeable and he has put our minds at rest at every stage. He has been able to do my laparoscopy, an operation on my husband, and we are now undergoing IVF which he is also overseeing. It makes such a difference having one person to oversee the whole process. Staff at the Circle Bath and Bath Fertility Clinic have also been excellent at every stage - friendly and knowledgeable. The hospital itself was also very good. It is exceptionally maintained and well staffed. I was even impressed that I was given a proper room after my operation rather than being put behind a curtain on a ward (which seems to be the norm). Overall, I am very impressed with this hospital and would highly recommend.
