"wrong advice given"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I was taken to A&E by ambulance following a fall at home. I had a suspected broken ankle and was visibly in pain. Initially staff were really nice until I got transferred to the minors unit. Once there no one explained anything to me even as they examined my ankle. After 3 hours I went for an xray after 3 members of staff asked if I had been yet (something they should be aware of) ten minutes later a woman I hadn't seen appeared and said 'its not broken you can go home'. I asked her how I was supposed to walk as I couldn't (still can't) put pressure on it. After informing me because of my weight crutches and a walker wouldn't be available I got up to leave. I was visibly in pain and no offer of a wheelchair to entrance was given. I asked how long I should rest it and was told to walk on it use as much as possible so muscle doesn't get weak. I tried to continue through the pain so I used it like adviser. Meanwhile the swelling spread and my ankle started to change colour. 3 days later I phoned minor injuries who said I shouldn't have use it for firsr 24-48 hours. My ankle is horrendously painful I can't sleep because if pain or walk without extreme pain. My foot also goes blue when I walk. This wrong advice has cost me dearly and I haven't got any any faith to return
