I attended arrow park hospital on 8th august and had the operation and was then sent to ward 18, due to a few complications instead of just an overnight stay I was on ward 18 for a week and a half. I really cannot fault the staff on this ward on occasions they were short staffed but still made sure everyone was well looked after, I noted on a number of occasions some of the nurses were still working nearly an hour after their shift had ended, this to me shows the dedication that the staff give to patient care. I was looked after by a consultant and his team. all I can say is I have never seen so much of any consultant he went out of his way to ensure I and other patients were looked after properly in some cases even after doing surgery all day he was still on the ward at 11.30 at night. please pass on my gratitude to the consultant and his team and all the nurses on ward 18 who all work extremely hard.they provide a service which is second to none.
