My visit to Tameside Hospital Accident and Emergency turned out to be very pleasant and reassuring. I was advised to go to Tameside Hospital via speaking to an adviser on the 111 NHS phone number.
As I was losing blood from my back passage which was worrying me and with me having Aspergers syndrome it made me very anxious. Straight from entertaining the A&E registering at the Reception the staff were friendly, the triage nurse was very quick to see me and ask about my problems he was very attentive.
I didn't have to wait long till I was called through by the lovely friendly nurse who took me to the cubicle and bed and took more information and talked to me and got me sorted with hospital clothing. I noticed the A&E was very clean, staff were smiley and friendly. The Phlebotomist was friendly and professional took my blood made me feel at ease.
Then Dr came to see me he was ever so wonderful he introduced himself to me and spoken to me in a very nice friendly manner he made me feel calm and reassured about everything, talked about my problems with no rush and listened well to me, give me an examination, told my blood results were fine and referred to me to have colonoscopy for further examination just to double check everything is fine.
So I thought Tameside Hospital offered a great service to me and I am honoured to have met some of Tameside Hospitals wonderful staff.
