Having left feedback regarding the appalling treatment I received, I then contacted PALS as requested to give further details. I have now essentially been called a liar by the "complaints co-ordinator". I have been sent a letter telling me that all the information I supplied was false, and am being told that they " can appreciate when you are waiting in pain it is difficult to track the time". I am not an imbecile and I wear a watch. I learnt to tell the time at a very early age. I am not senile or a liar. I was not seen by a doctor in 2 hours and 38 minutes. This a blatant and provable lie by the hospital. What started as a general complaint about poor service has now left me feeling extremely aggrieved at the continuing lack of awareness at DRI. I have since rung and left 5 messages asking for a call back, and unsurprisingly nobody has had the courtesy to return my call. Once again I must express my disappointment. What a shambles!
