"Body Boot Camp at Hawtonville and Balderton Children's Centre"

About: Hawtonville Children's Centre

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended the Body Boot Camp at Hawtonville and Balderton Children’s Centre as I wanted to get fitter and learn a little about healthy eating as I had previously done Slimming World three times before. Each time I lost some weight but struggled to lose the last bit even though I was eating well.

It was hard work having to carefully plan my meals around daily life, my children’s and their diets as well.

I joined the course to help me learn new things around dieting and to get me exercising regularly while gaining more confidence and staying motivated.

The Body Boot camp has taught me how to adapt my diet very simply, just by explaining to us about fats and sugars and how they affect your body.

Since completing the course I have gradually changed my diet and my confidence to exercise has improved as well as my body shape. I have also started running and doing other exercise classes.

The instructor is a lovely person who doesn’t patronise you, she’s helpful, supportive and inspiring.

I would look at the doing the course again in the future and would love for the centre to run it more regularly as not everyone has the confidence to attend a gym or they cannot get to one or afford to go to one.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience of the Body Boot Camp.

I am glad to hear that the course gave you that bit of extra support to continue with your journey, you have done so well.

I will certainly feedback your comments to the team, however please feel free to contact the centre at anytime and they will gladly provide you with information on all future courses.

Thank you once again.
