"Team should be proud"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / Cardiology

(as a relative),

Dad taken ill in Pitlochry. Ambulance there in 2 mins taken to Perth A&E who were absolutely brilliant with him and ensured that we were kept informed. They even tried to get accommodation for us as we were all on holiday from England. The care he received from CCU and the Cardiology Team on Ward 5 was brilliant. We knew exactly what was happening, even when we had to come back to England and leave him there. The Occupational Therapist battled to get Dad some home care back here in England and won! We are just pleased to have him home but we know that he had the best possible care. The Team here should be very proud of themselves.

Dear joe8,

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us. I will share this post with CCU and the Cardiology Team on Ward 5 at PRI. I am glad your dad received the best possible care from NHS Tayside.

Kind regards

Caroline
