"Verbal abuse by dr"

About: Royal United Hospital

I was admitted in July, due to severe pain. I was admitted on the early hours of the Sunday morning to the ward and was left to be drugged up on the ward by the doctors, come the fri, nothing was getting much better I asked to see someone regarding the pain as nothing was being done and what I was telling the junior doctor was either not being passed on or brushed of , when a more senior doctor came round a bit later, bad attitude would not even describe it, telling me I was faking it and there was nothing wrong with me, then got right in my face shouting and yelling, yes I'm no doctor but I know my own body and correct me if I'm wrong but if that was the other way round, security would of called and most probably the police to escort away, oh yeh I forgot to mention 6 days in at this stage and not even a drop of blood taken, if I'm not correct I thought that was normal procedure once you are admitted, days later I'm discharged still not knowing what's wrong with me only to be rushed to the drs a few nights later to be told I had an infection, I ring up a few weeks later to follow up on the complaint to be informed that they were informed that it was sorted out on the ward, in which I insisted that it be taken further, I'm now being told it was all a misunderstanding between staff. Apart from this mistreatment from a so called professional who we put our lives in their hands, I can't fault the nursing staff and the HCAs there treatment was exceptional if anything they are well overworked
