"I can't seem to make them understand"

My mother had her last treatment in March 2014 and since then I have been trying to get the feet people to see her at her home for further treatment.

Up until March I used to take my mother to the Princess Royal Health Centre to have her toenails cut regularly. Since then I have had an operation and am no longer able to drive so I cannot take her. My Mother has had two strokes and is not able to get out of flat easily, I know that the podiatry people from the health centre do home visits because I have seen them at the warden assisted flats where my mother lives but I cannot get them to understand my mother needs a home visit.

I’ve given the health centre my mobile number so that the home visit can be arranged through me, especially as my mother could not get to the telephone very quickly because of her mobility problems. I’ve now got her a phone she can carry around with her. No one calls back. When I manage to speak to someone they can’t seem to understand I can no longer get my mother to the health centre. I’ve tried to register a complaint, I can’t even seem to do that.

Because she has not had her toe nails cut since March it is now really painful for her to put on shoes. She has been advised to wear shoes rather than soft slippers since her stroke.
