For patients that are told that nothing can be done for their angina: after a five bypass do not accept this from your Consultant/General practioner. Demand to be referred to the National Refractory Angina Centre at Royal Liverpool & Broad green University Hospital.
They have excellant results at this Centre. Have suffered for six years but now lead a better life due to care I have received. Still have pain but life is now much better. They have many ways to treat the pain so do not give up.
Refractory Angina is when it does not respond to tablets.
