I attended for a barium swallow test on 18 August, an unfamiliar process. The doctor in attendance was wonderful. She explained everything to me, calmed my nerves, encouraged me as the test progressed, and treated me with dignity and respect. While of course one would always hope for such treatment my overall experience of hospital doctors is that they are rushed and officious (if not arrogant). So it was a pleasure to feel human. Also I was seen on time. Ten out of ten.
"Impressive"
