"Hammer toe op"

I has an op for hammertoe on both feet on march 2012 at withybush hospital, west wales. Everything was ok when I came home, asked for 6wk xray and was declined. Before a year was up my small toe in my right foot had turned underneath, so we found out it hadnt worked! ! They had used these new plastic dissolvable pins. I am now a waiting my toe being done again. Last week my husband took a pin out of my other toe which we been told it was just swelling! ! Took it to the hospital and they said that plastic wouldnt show up on xray, and that go ahead with the op and see surgeon after to discuss others - or go back on waiting list which we been told he might not do anything at all. If I had been told that my recovery was helped by good muscles and blood circulation which I havent got either! ! I wouldnt off had it done as I feel let down. Also didnt have a care plan done
