"New lease of life"

I have had 2 stay's of 10 and 11 day's at Papworth Hospital, in late 2007 and September 2008 on the general medical ward, for pleurodesis. I cannot praise the staff enough .From the porter's to the surgeon they were without exception a wonderfull bunch of people who obviously enjoyed their work. The attention I received was exellent and compared favourably with private treatment. Everyone was plesant and caring, the hospital was very clean, the food was good, I had a laugh with nurses and fellow patients, and I almost felt sad to go home ! Outpatients clinics are also simularly impressive. I now live my life without becoming breathless on exertion. Well done Papworth , it is the N.H.S. at it's best.
