"Awful treatment"

About: Diana, Princess Of Wales Hospital

I have recently been discharged from DPOW, I spent 2 weeks in Hull Rotal and had to be admitted back to grimsby. The staff would not listen to advice from Hull, I was on the wrong treatment as they couldn't be bothered to call and get correct advice even though I stressed this many times. I was bumped around wards with no continuity of care , your no ones patient so no one looks after you. One whole day I didn't even get my regular medication never mind anything else. After major surgery this treatment just the final straw and told staff I was going home myself and would have my GP do what was needed. All staff need to do is to actually listen to patients. God knows what would happen if you didn't have a voice!

Please can I ask you to contact our patient advice and liaison service so the team can take down some more details and look into these concerns. You can ring them on 01472 875403 or email nlg-tr.pals@nhs.net Kind regards, Sarah Mainprize
