"Total Left Hip Replacement 6th August 2014"

I was admitted on 6th August 2014 for my THR operation. Having a major operation is a very daunting and scary event. From the the day of my admission to my discharge 7 days later I had a thoroughly positive experience and would highly recommend Fulwood Hall Hospital. At every level the staff were exemplary. When you are feeling low it is vital you receive support, but the way that care was given was fantastic. The nursing staff were so caring - I had my highs and lows and through it all they were marvellous. The Physios, Doctors/Theatre staff were excellent. The catering and cleaners were great too. It's wonderful to have so many smiling faces around you. The whole team works together seamlessly and it was a great environment when you are at a low ebb. I would highly recommend Fulwood Hall - you're all stars and I cannot say thank you enough. You really should be so proud. What a wonderful service you all provide. I was discharged with everything I would need and even had a phone call the following day at home to see how I'd been the first night. Going the extra mile I'd say - they must see so many people over the course of a week but I felt I was treated with respect and as a person - not just another case. I feel very fortunate to have had this exceptional support from everyone at Fulwood Hall. Thank you all so much.
