"A& E - No problems."

My wife was taken to A&E at the request of our GP on Thursday 15th August. I accompanied her. On arrival it, was quite clear that there were a significant number of outstanding patients to be seen. After an hour, I was escorted to an examination room to be re-united with my wife. Whilst there, a number of nurses performed the usual test and after a further wait of 45 minutes a Doctor arrived. Throughout the examination all the staff involved were very professional, courteous and understanding. I include the assistance given to us by one of the cleaning staff !! Whilst I can understand peoples frustrations at having to wait for so long, I consider that, in view of the illness that my wife is suffering from, the wait was worth it. (I only wish that the waiting are had more comfortable seating!!) As for the staff, without exception, brilliant.
